Design is a proposition,
enacted in the world -
not a solution, imposed on it.

Knowledge lives in bodies, materials, and cultures — not only in data, text, or image. The Laboratory for Material Propositions starts there. We physicalize data so it can be felt, not just read. We treat intuition as evidence and cultural practice as research. We refuse the boundary between thinking and making, between feeling and knowing. Design, for us, is not a discipline of control — it is a practice of attunement.
